Ade Laoye completed his secondary school education at St. Gregory’s College, Lagos; from there, he proceeded to the United Kingdom to Geldeston Hall School Suffolk England and Irwin Academy Leicester England for his A Levels. In 1983 Ade Laoye went up to the Birmingham School of Architecture where he obtained his BA (Hons) in Architecture. He worked in the London firms of Brian Clouston Architects and Lloyds Banks Architects, as an Architectural Assistant on various projects like the Community Center Housing Complex, Hertsmere, UK, Offices for Lloyd’s Bank, Horsham, UK and Lloyds Bank Branch Knightsbridge, London, before going back to the Birmingham School of Architecture for his Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture in 1989.
Since Ade’s return to Nigeria some many years ago, he has developed into an Architect with a depth of knowledge of the Architectural & Construction industry at both national and international levels, having practiced at the highest level of the industry on private and public sector projects. Ade has in-depth experience in the procurement of buildings from the design inception stage, through construction documentation and also the implementation stage on-site coordinating and supervising major contractors on various projects.
Ade has a passion for Urban Architecture and has run the successful & thriving Architectural practice since 1995 when he founded it. He has completed various projects that have contributed positively to shaping the Urban Environment, like Residential developments, Public buildings, Institutional buildings, Hospitals & Energy- efficient office developments, and the now completed International Aviation College, Ilorin, Kwara State.
